This week, Very has already seen drop PS5 stock online, and now it looks like more stores will follow.
The latest is that Argos could be ready to drop its next shipment of PS5 consoles later today, October 20.
But unlike in the past, things can happen later in the day. A new message from PS5 Stock Alert UK on Twitter, Argos could drop off its new shipment around 8am BST.
This is different from the much earlier restocks of the past and should make it easier for more people to buy a console.
We don’t know how many PlayStation 5s will be available to buy, but there’s a good chance they’ll be distributed across local regions.
The same source has also suggested Amazon could offer more inventory in October, though no firm date has been given.
But the important thing to note is that this prediction was shared alongside the idea that Very would drop the stock this week, which happened a few hours after the post was shared.
The latest on the situation was shared by PS5 Stock Alert on Twitter, who posted: “Our internal sources are still indicating that Argos will fall at 8am on October 20, so that’s one to look forward to. this week.
“We have no information to confirm this, but past resupply patterns point to a possible decline this week for Amazon (20/10) & Very (19/10 or 20/10). Just a prediction.”
So while there’s no guarantee there’ll be a PS5 restock from Amazon this week, it’s still worth following what happens next at the internet giant.
Knowing when a PS5 replenishment is due can be vital, but it’s also worth knowing how each retailer handles their shipments.
More PS5 Stock news for the UK
And here are a few examples of how best to try and buy a PlayStation 5 console from leading UK retailers:
ARGOS: The Argos website is notorious for crashing and not being able to complete purchases when there is a lot of site traffic. Inventory trackers recommend using the Argos mobile app and keeping an eye on local store listings. The next PS5 restock is expected to take place on October 20.
GAME: GAME is a UK retailer offering the most regular stock updates for PS5 consoles. However, console hunters have been warned to use Guest Checkout as this option is less likely to crash when completing a purchase.
AMAZON UNITED KINGDOM: Amazon UK works better under tension, but still has a few kinks worth noting. Creating an account with your card details is a good start, and gamers should also try adding a console to their wish list before checking out. Amazon PS5 stocks are forecast to fall for October, with no firm dates.
The PlayStation 5 is still in high demand as Sony continues to achieve worldwide sales success.
However, like other technical items, supply chain issues have slowed down the number of consoles that can be sold, and these issues are not expected to end in 2021.
