Ubisoft’s massively multiplayer extreme sports game Riders Republic is available as a free download.

With the full release date in just a week, fans can get a taste of the action as part of a free trial.

As part of the free trial week, fans can play Riders Republic on any platform for up to four hours.

Best of all, you can play Riders Republic before launch without a pre-order or any kind of pre-registration.

“The trial week is completely free and requires no prior registration,” reads a Ubisoft message.

It will be available for download on all platforms beginning October 21 at 9:00 a.m. CEST. On consoles, you can find it in your console’s store by searching for “Riders Republic Trial Week” and downloading it for free.

“On PC, you can find it in the Epic Games Store store by searching for “Riders Republic Trial Week” and download it for free.

“You can also play via Ubisoft Connect PC by using the link that will be added to this page starting October 21 at 9:00 AM CEST.”

To get the most out of the trial week, users are encouraged to exit the game completely once they have ended a session.

“Riders! If you’re done playing Trial Week for today, close the game completely so your timer doesn’t run out. Better safe than sorry!”

Ubisoft also confirmed the size of the download and revealed that Riders Republic is approximately 23 GB.

Finally, any progress made during the trial period will carry over to the full game, provided you use a Ubisoft Connect account.

If you haven’t seen Riders Republic much, the upcoming Ubisoft game is sort of an expanded version of Steep.

Instead of just winter sports, gliding and wingsuits, the game offers downhill BMX bikes.

Grab your bike, skis, snowboard or wingsuit and explore an open world sports paradise where you can make – or break the rules.

You can play against 19 other players in a huge multiplayer world that includes locations such as Yosemite, Zion and Bryce Canyon.
