TWO UPDATE: A surprising update shared this week by a consumer-trusted source suggests a new GAME PS5 replenishment will take place this week.
A new PlayStation 5 shipment will reportedly be released on GAME on Thursday, November 4 or Friday, November 5. There’s currently no word on how much PS5 stock is on sale, and PS5 Stock Alert UK is sharing the latest update via Twitter.
Restocking at GAME usually takes place in the morning between 8am BST and 12pm BST and this pattern is expected to continue this week.
UPDATE: A new report suggests that GAME will host another PS5 restock in November 2021, but that it won’t take place this week.
According to PS5 Stock UK Alert on Twitter, GAME will have a new shipment of PS5 stock to offer console fighters between November 9 and November 11.
Further news of an exact date is expected to be shared closer to time.
ORIGINAL: Gamers scramble for new PlayStation stock before the year ends and a new cycle begins in the new year. And the good news is that the first PS5 UK replenishment was reported in November and won’t be announced for the last time in the coming weeks.
While PlayStation 5 shares are hard to come by, there will still be plenty of opportunities before the end of the year. Sony is working hard to deliver as many consoles around the world as possible, although Europe and North America remain vital markets.
Most of the largest UK retailers are expected to offer new stocks in November, including Argos, GAME, Currys and Amazon. But for now, we only know one that will take place later this month from John Lewis.
The news was shared by PS5 Stock UK – a reliable stock tracker account on Twitter – known for providing the best guides on what happens next.
They confirmed over the weekend that John Lewis would be offering a delivery of next-gen consoles in November, though not this week.
Restocking is not predicted for a few more weeks, the good news is that more retailers are expected to be added to the list in the coming days.
The message posted on Twitter by PS5 Stock UK reads: “John Lewis expects to receive a small shipment of the PS5 Disc Edition on November 22nd, indicating a possible restocking around November 25-26.”
While that may seem a long way off, there will be other restocks throughout the month.
Most major retailers offer at least two shipments each month, with the list including GAME, Currys, and Argos.
Amazon is less predictable, but even there it is expected to share a new PlayStation 5 shipment before the end of December.
PS5 Stock is coming to the UK in November
Knowing when a PS5 replenishment is due can be vital, but it’s also worth knowing how each retailer handles their shipments.
And here are a few examples of how best to try and buy a PlayStation 5 console from leading UK retailers:
ARGOS: The Argos website is notorious for crashing and not being able to complete purchases when there is a lot of site traffic. Inventory trackers recommend using the Argos mobile app and keeping an eye on local store listings.
AMAZON UNITED KINGDOM: Amazon UK works better under tension, but still has a few kinks worth noting. Creating an account with your card details is a good start, and gamers should also try adding a console to their wish list before checking out.
GAME: GAME is a UK retailer offering the most regular stock updates for PS5 consoles. However, console hunters have been warned to use Guest Checkout as this option is less likely to crash when completing a purchase. There are no new dates for when the next PS5 restock will take place.
CURRYSNote: Currys does not host purely digital restock events and there is no indication of when they may be offering more consoles online. The retailer chooses to sell the PlayStation 5 through its physical stores through a ticket system. Interested parties must register on the Currys PS5 page for a chance to be selected, then wait for the next shipment of consoles to arrive.
