Microsoft is launching its next major console exclusive this month, with the Forza Horizon 5 release date slated for November 2021.

But as in the past, the tech giant has given fans a way to play the game early, with an official Forza Horizon early access period starting soon.

The good news for fans of the franchise is that anyone can do this by pre-ordering the right version of the game.

The downside is that it doesn’t include Xbox Game Pass and also means you’ll have to spend more money on the final product.

There are no platform limits regarding who can start playing early, meaning there is no obvious incentive between Steam, Windows, Xbox One or Xbox Series X.

Microsoft has confirmed that early access to Forza Horizon 5 will begin on Friday, November 5.

This period is only available to those who purchased the Premium version of the game before launch, which includes various other in-game bonuses and incentives.

The Premium Edition of Forza Horizon 5 is also one of the most expensive game bundles available, and the other big advantage is that the game can be preloaded on Steam and Xbox consoles.

For everyone else, the Forza Horizon 5 launch date is set for November 9, and so are those who plan to play through Xbox Game Pass.

Microsoft has also warned gamers who may have loaded Forza Horizon 5 on your Xbox console or PC before October 21 to check for game updates on your platform of choice to confirm full game files are installed.

Doing so will ensure you’ll be ready to experience Forza Horizon 5 as soon as Early Access begins on November 5 for Premium Edition and Premium Add-On Bundle owners, or November 9 when the game starts rolling out worldwide .

Horizon 5 takes place in Mexico and allows to unlock a number of exotic vehicle types while exploring the country.

A post from Microsoft revealed more about the situation, telling gamers earlier this year: “As you play through Forza Horizon 5 and explore our expanded version of Mexico, expect cargo planes, an active volcano, a race to the festival under beautiful Mexican skies. and more.

“You’ll see thrilling sights such as the Ford Bronco Badlands atop the active snow-capped Gran Caldera volcano, the 2020 Corvette Stingray ripping the tarmac into a dust storm in Mexican farmland, and the Porsche 911 Desert Flyer ripping through the dense thicket. jungle tree canopy.

“We are thrilled that Ford and Mercedes-AMG fans will be able to drive the biggest vehicles of the year in the game thanks to their great collaboration.

“And thanks to the capabilities of the Xbox Series X|S consoles, we knew we could dial in the detail and authenticity more than ever before.

“For example, ray tracing in Forzavista – we get a new level of material response and reflections, more similar to what you would see in real life with your eyes.”

The Forza Horizon 5 preload means you should find 100GB on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Steam, and Windows 11.
