PS5 UK Restock: Argos PlayStation 5 Stock Update Revealed – Very and Game News

A new PS5 addition has been confirmed for the UK, following a flurry of activity in the first week of November.

Now that the first releases are over, a new report suggests Argos will be launching one of the next big restocks of the month.

A new PlayStation 5 shipment is expected to arrive later this week and will come with a few restrictions.

This includes Argos providing only PS5 stock for disc edition, and no digital variants are expected.

The new Argos drop is expected to take place between Tuesday, November 9 and Thursday, November 11, 2021.

The good news is that more details will be revealed before the PS5 restock kicks in, giving gamers more time to prepare.

The news was shared by PS5 Stock UK – a reliable stock tracker account on Twitter – known for providing the best guides on what happens next.

The account confirmed over the weekend that Argos would be offering a shipment of next-gen consoles in November, with Very another option, and GAME further afield.

The message PS5 Stock UK posted on Twitter reads: “Argos has been receiving PS5 consoles in the last few days. It appears that a Disc edition will only be restocked, but this has not been confirmed. More details coming soon.

“We normally don’t have Very news though, looking back at Very’s drop history, this week looks likely. Possibly Tuesday.”

Most major retailers offer at least two shipments each month, with the list including GAME, Currys, and Argos.

Smaller retailers known for their multiple drops include John Lewis, ShopTo, Scan, and ASDA.

Amazon is less predictable, but chances are the internet giant will offer at least one more restock of PlayStation 5s before the end of the year.

Knowing when a PS5 replenishment is due can be vital, but it’s also worth knowing how each retailer handles their shipments.

And here are a few examples of how best to try and buy a PlayStation 5 console from leading UK retailers:

AMAZON UNITED KINGDOM: Amazon UK works better under tension, but still has a few kinks worth noting. Creating an account with your card details is a good start, and gamers should also try adding a console to their wish list before checking out.

GAME: GAME is a UK retailer offering the most regular stock updates for PS5 consoles. However, console hunters have been warned to use Guest Checkout as this option is less likely to crash when completing a purchase. There are no new dates for when the next PS5 restock will take place.

CURRYS: Currys doesn’t run purely digital restock events and there’s no indication of when they might be offering more consoles online. The retailer chooses to sell the PlayStation 5 through its physical stores through a ticket system. Interested parties must register on the Currys PS5 page for a chance to be selected, then wait for the next shipment of consoles to arrive.

ARGOS: The Argos website is notorious for crashing and not being able to complete purchases when there is a lot of site traffic. Inventory trackers recommend using the Argos mobile app and keeping an eye on local store listings. Argos is expected to release new stock between November 9 and November 12.
