Malaysian studio Metronomik initially attracted attention as it is headed by Wan Hazmer. He was the lead game designer of Final Fantasy XV and was therefore in the limelight. The studio’s first project was the music action game No Straight Roads.

Now you have with Ondeh Ondeh the second project unveiled. Again they lean on music, but now in an imaginative setting. The approach is completely different from No Straight Roads, it is immediately clear.

By the way, Ondeh Ondeh is a dessert from Malaysia. So too, the game should be steeped in Malaysian culture and offer charming story and exploration. According to Game Director Wan Hazmer, this is due to the references to Malaysia in No Straight Roads. Because these were well received, they now fully rely on them, Hazmer said.

The first trailer and a music teaser show what it looks like and especially how it sounds. No comment has yet been made about platforms and the publication period.
