Elden Ring on PlayStation and Xbox
Elden Ring fans are urged to check their email for a possible invite to a network test.
The Elden Ring Network test is a chance for fans to get a taste of the game’s open world, characters, and combat ahead of next year’s full release.
It also gives the development team a chance to test the online servers and make sure that the game is balanced and fair.
The Elden Ring Network Test will take place from November 12th until the early hours of November 15th.
Although the Network Test is free to play, you will need an invite code to play.
Codes are sent by Bandai Namco to fans who sign up through the Elden Ring Network Test website.
Once you’ve received your code by email, it’s worth redeeming right away as there’s been one or two issues.
“We are currently experiencing issues with some of the codes sent to the winners,” a statement from Bandai Namco reads.
“Please wait as we are currently investigating the cause. We will keep you updated on the situation. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and ask for your patience and understanding.”
If you do receive a code, the first gameplay session is scheduled for November 12 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM GMT.
• November 12: 11am to 2pm GMT
• November 13: 3am to 6am GMT
• November 13: 19:00 to 22:00 GMT
• November 14: 11am to 2pm GMT
• November 15: 3am to 6am GMT
Elden Ring is a fantasy adventure collaboration between From Software’s Hidetaka Miyazaki and Game of Thrones author George RR Martin.
“An unparalleled adventure awaits in Elden Ring, the next epic fantasy title created by From Software, Inc. and Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc,” reads the official description.
Elden Ring is From Software’s biggest game to date, set in a sprawling realm steeped in a rich and gory history, created by Hidetaka Miyazaki – creator of the influential and critically acclaimed DARK SOULS video game series; and George RR Martin – author of The New York Times’ best-selling fantasy series, A Song of Ice and Fire.”
The game features horseback battles, massive bosses and the same brutal Dark Souls-inspired action.
