If you’re a fan of Bloodborne, Dark Souls and Sekiro, then Elden Ring should be high on your list of upcoming games.

Developed by FromSoftware, the open-world fantasy game has a release date of February 22, 2022 on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

However, some lucky fans can try out Elden Ring early by taking part in this week’s network test.

Essentially a gameplay beta, the network test gives the development team a chance to stress-test the servers and fine-tune the balance.

More importantly, it gives hardcore fans a chance to jump into the open world and experience the action ahead of launch.

The Elden Ring Closed Beta has a November 12 release date for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.

Gameplay sessions will be split into parts, starting with a three-hour session from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. GMT on the morning of November 12. The full schedule is further down the page.

Unfortunately, the Elden Ring Network Test is only accessible if you have received an invite from Bandai Namco.

If you are over 17 and own a PlayStation or Xbox console, you can request a code via the Elden Ring Network Test Website.

Read the comments, agree to the terms and conditions, then select your console for a chance to win the beta.

Bandai Namco sends codes via email, so check your Inbox and Junk folder for an invite.

Interestingly, some people sell network test codes on eBay, where bids reach over £60!

What fans can expect, Bandai Namco laid out some of the features that will be available during the beta.

“In the ELDEN RING Network Test, you play as a preset player character, explore fields and dungeons, fight enemies and play online elements,” reads the official description.

The development team has warned players to expect one or two bugs and glitches, explaining that the game is still in development.

If you do receive a code, the first gameplay session is scheduled for November 12 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM GMT.

• November 12: 11am to 2pm GMT

• November 13: 3am to 6am GMT

• November 13: 19:00 to 22:00 GMT

• November 14: 11am to 2pm GMT

• November 15: 3am to 6am GMT
