Animal Crossing New Horizons got a second update within a week.

Animal Crossing New Horizons Update 2.0.1 is available to download exclusively for Nintendo Switch.

It’s especially good news for owners of the Happy Home Paradise DLC, as it makes one or two critical fixes.

Nintendo explains more: “Animal Crossing New Horizons players who own the Happy Home Paradise DLC may experience gameplay bugs if they visit Resident Services and request to remodel a resident’s home while the gates at their airport are open.

“We recommend that players do not attempt to remodel an islander’s home while the gates at their airport are open.

“As long as the airport gates are closed, you should not encounter these gameplay bugs while renovating residents’ homes on your island.”

Nintendo previously recommended that you restart the game if you experienced the issue, although update 2.0.1 means you don’t have to worry about it anymore.

“A new Animal Crossing New Horizons software update (version 2.0.1) is now available that fixes the above gameplay bugs. Thank you for your patience.”

With the Happy Home Paradise DLC installed, players will join Lottie’s Paradise Planning team, where you can choose jobs and design houses based on your client’s wishes.

“Choose the island you want to build on and design everything to create a home that makes the customer happy.

“Place furniture that matches the theme, decorate both indoors and out, change the season, the time of day and more. The more houses you make, the more customers you will find looking for your services!”

Players will also be able to transform vacant buildings into hospitals, schools and other essential properties.
