Raven Software also confirmed that due to unforeseen circumstances, Iron Trials ’84 Solos and Duos have been removed from the November 11 update and replaced with core BR Solos and Duos.

But while these are notable changes, they’re nothing compared to what comes next to the game.

Call of Duty Warzone will receive a new Pacific Map in December that will replace Verdansk forever.

As there are no plans to bring back the Modern Warfare experience, this means gamers will only be able to enjoy it for a few weeks before it disappears.

Caldera will be the new Warzone map arriving on December 2 and described as being the same size as Verdansk but offering very different possibilities when it comes to playstyles.

A post from Raven Software teases: “Warzone will change its title to Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific, or “Warzone Pacific.” The new Pacific is officially launching as part of Vanguard’s first season of content. A map roughly the size of Verdansk , which he will replace as part of the update, this new map is based on two years of research and community listening.

“Built on the same technology and engine as Call of Duty: Vanguard, this map is visually appealing as it is ready to support the weaponry of this new game, and will feature fully optimized cross-play, cross-progression, and cross-gen support. to support. ”

But while Caldera won’t be playable until December, new Warzone events are planned in the run-up to launch.

This includes a new flashback event for Verdansk starting next week and featuring new cosmetic items to unlock.

It should be noted that Operation: Flashback will start on November 18th and will have its own mode that can be selected from the main Warzone menu.

“The city and its environs have hosted more than 100 million players in the past 18 months, and a lot has changed since March 10, 2020. From a blast to the year 1984 to hosting Action Heroes and Hauntings from the 80s, Verdansk proved the place to be. to invade again and again.

“To celebrate – and bring back – these classic moments and much more, lead developer Raven Software has created a special limited-time mode, “Operation: Flashback,” with plenty of surprises spanning the action-packed history of Verdansk.”
