Gamers are used to it now, and it will come as no surprise to many that the Battlefield 2042 servers are temporarily unavailable for some today.

The latest BF title was previously launched on November 12 as part of an early access phase open to those who own a Gold version of the game or have an EA Play subscription.

And now that all platforms are live, there was always a good chance of a few server wobbles in the first week.

The good news is that EA is aware of the issues and is committed to fixing them as soon as possible.

It should also be noted that while thousands of reports are coming in, it doesn’t look like the Battlefield servers are down for everyone.

This means that some gamers will still be able to connect to the game tonight, while others may have trouble doing the same.

It’s unclear how long issues could last, but there’s a good chance you’ll experience occasional issues over the weekend as the game’s servers are under more load.

EA’s latest information on current Battlefield server issues reads: “We are aware that many of you are getting an error while trying to load on a server and then return to the main menu

“Failed to load persistence data is a connectivity issue on our end. We are working on it, for now you can click on Retry and try to join a server.”
