Call of Duty Vanguard’s first major content update is coming to a console near you.

As fans count down to the start of season one, Activision is gearing up to release the Shipment map.

Fan favorite map has a November 17 release date for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.

While there’s no official release time, Call of Duty updates often drop at 6pm UK time, so check back later for a possible download.

Alternatively, the new Call of Duty Vanguard update could be released on November 18 at 5am GMT UK time. Express Online has contacted Activision for confirmation.

The news was announced by Activision in a recent Vanguard blog, where the post-release roadmap was fully laid out.

“Call of Duty: Vanguard’s unparalleled content drop continues after launch with a few free special deliveries in the days leading up to season one,” explains Activision.

Headlining that batch of free content is Shipment, the classic frenetic multiplayer experience repurposed for Vanguard, currently slated for November 17.

“Newcomers and veterans alike can get ready for a new take on the map that has entertained Call of Duty fans for more than a decade, offering all Vanguard players a chaotic playground for destruction.”

The build up to season one will continue later this month when the Last Days of Verdansk Warzone event kicks off.

Season one kicks off in full a few weeks later on December 2, both in Vanguard and Warzone.

The new season adds new maps and modes, new weapons and items, as well as new Zombies content.

In the meantime, Call of Duty fans will have plenty to get started with, as Vanguard is chock-full of content.

It all starts with the single player campaign called ‘Birth of the Special Forces’.

A battle on all fronts. End Project Phoenix and relive the heroic moments of Task Force One, a multinational group of heroes including Arthur Kingsley, Polina Petrova, Wade Jackson, Lucas Riggs, Richard Webb and many others united in the fight against evil. “

The campaign is launching alongside a robust multiplayer offering, which includes 20 maps. Fans can participate in seven base game modes, plus the brand new Champion Hill mode.
