Xbox exclusivity should not be a penalty for another platform

At E3 2018, Bethesda The Elder Scrolls VI announced. Since then, on the one hand, Skyrim has appeared a few times, on the other, Bethesda has been bought by Microsoft.

The Elder Scrolls VI will most likely be released for PCs and Xbox, nothing more to expect given the acquisition. In the interview with GQ (It’s about the 20th anniversary of Xbox and more) Phil Spencer talked about this premise.

Starfield was announced exclusively for Xbox and PC a few months ago. Phil Spencer sees the same happening for The Elder Scrolls VI, as he revealed to GQ.

“It’s not about punishing another platform because I actually believe that all platforms can continue to grow,” Spencer says. As for Xbox, he wants to offer the “complete package of what we have”. And that goes for all Xbox franchises.

And when will The Elder Scrolls VI be released?

It will take a while. “We want to make sure we’re doing it right,” Todd told Howard a few days ago IGN. “We hope The Elder Scrolls VI is worth the wait and that it lives up to the show in a big, influential way.”
