UPDATE 3: GAME has announced plans to restock the PlayStation 5 on the morning of November 17.

The PS5 will be available around 10am GMT UK time, although additional consoles may be available after GAME runs anti-scalping checks.

“Tomorrow morning we go live with a selection of PlayStation 5 consoles,” reads a GAME statement. “PlayStation 5 is still in high demand and that demand is much higher than current supply. We have taken strong steps to ensure that our ‘1 per customer’ statement is maintained.

In addition, we have established our ‘anti-scalp policy’ procedures to enable as many individual customers as possible to make a successful purchase. Please note that all pre-orders are subject to automatic checks. Order updates (such as cancellation email emails) take place after a customer has received a valid order confirmation email.

“At this point, these orders are still pre-orders and as such, no customer payments have been received yet. Payments will begin once our checks on our order and anti-scalp policy are complete.”

UPDATE 2: Currys has sent PlayStation 5 purchase codes to VIP customers.

If you’ve signed up to the Currys website, it’s worth checking for an email, both in your Inbox and in the Junk folder.

Customers who missed this time should pay a visit to the Currys website and sign up for a chance to buy a PS5 in the future.

While applications are currently closed, there is a chance they will reopen in the future, so keep the PS5 hub at Currys.

It is also worth contacting local stores for possible replenishments or canceled orders.

UPDATE: As we count down to the release of the PS5 addition to Argos, Express Online is wondering if now might be the time to invest in a pre-owned PlayStation.

As you can see from the link below, pre-owned PlayStation 5 prices are starting to drop in places like CEX and eBay.

PS5 UK PRICE REDUCTION – Now is the time to buy a pre-owned PlayStation 5?

While you’ll still end up paying more than the recommended retail price on the used market, consoles are much cheaper than they were at the peak of PlayStation 5 popularity.

Argos was the other best place to buy a PS5 in the UK this year. One of the best things about ordering a PS5 from Argos is that customers were able to pick up a shiny new PS5 console from their local Argos store not too long after placing their order.

ORIGINAL: PS5 customers have multiple options to purchase a PlayStation console this week.

As part of our desire to help readers get their hands on a PS5 in time for Christmas, Express Online will be posting live stock alerts. Keep an eye on this article for the latest stock updates for PlayStation 5.

If you’re looking for a PlayStation 5 this week, your first port of call is the PlayStation Direct website, which has already replenished the device once today.

The site offers fans the chance to purchase everything from PS Plus subscriptions and hardware to games and accessories. This includes PS5 consoles, which can be purchased as standalone devices without games.

The US Direct website regularly receives stock, so don’t be surprised to see a second stock later this week.

To give yourself the best possible chance of getting your hands on a console, PS5 UK Stock Alerts recommends setting up a Sony account sooner rather than later.

“Make sure you have an account with Sony and have all your details saved, such as billing address, phone number and map, if possible.

“This ensures that you can check out the fastest and not have to create an account right away, which could mean missing out on a console.”

Argos is also expected to restock the PlayStation 5 this week, after a recent delay.

Originally expected between November 9-12, it looks like the PlayStation 5 restock will take place between November 16-19.

The PS5 UK Stock Alerts account reported on Twitter: “Argos drop delayed. More info on why and when will be available soon. Stay tuned.

“Some stores have said they have received an email telling them to delay the stock drop for about a week. It’s still worth checking your local today, just in case there’s a stock drop right away. is available.”

You can find the links to Argos and retailers like Amazon and GAME by checking out the widget above.

Following on from the recent news that Sony has flown PlayStation 5 consoles to the UK, there’s a good chance GAME and Amazon will also be restocking the PS5 this week.
