Developer Prideful Sloth, best known for Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles, has teamed up with publisher 505 Games Growing: Song of the Evertree released today. There are many more impressions in the launch trailer. By the way, there is a German localization.

The Australian developer’s world builder sandbox game is available for PCs, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. A physical release is scheduled for February 2022.

In Grow: Song of the Evertree you can design, manage and explore your own oasis of well-being. The once colorful world of Alaria has been abandoned since the drought began. The mighty Evertree, on whose branches the worlds once rested, is but a limp shoot.

“With Grow, we wanted to create a game that makes players feel like they’re contributing to the well-being of the world rather than exploiting it. This world is a huge garden that you nurture and maintain and gently direct its growth in the direction you want,” said Cheryl Vance, game designer at Prideful Sloth.

Players take on the role of an Everheart alchemist and grow new worlds in the crown of the Evertree. Residents return, life flourishes again. Get to know creatures, listen to their stories. Create your dream city.

The music and music for Grow is provided by the games and anime composer Kevin Penkin. His soundtrack for Florence is BAFTA nominated and his works Made in Abyss and Tower of God have received Crunchyroll Awards.
