Call of Duty Warzone Secrets of the Pacific Event Release Time, Date, Update Patch Notes

The new season of Call of Duty Warzone may have been delayed, but there’s still plenty to do while the countdown continues.

The new Call of Duty Warzone map will be available December 8, or December 9 if you don’t own a copy of Vanguard.

Before the new season starts, Call of Duty Warzone players can enjoy the Secrets of the Pacific event.

The Call of Duty Secrets of the Pacific event has a release date of November 24 and a launch time at 6pm GMT.

As part of the Warzone event, players can discover new information on the upcoming Caldera map.

“As we prepare for the end of Verdansk, get ready to discover more about the mysterious Caldera map by unearthing Secrets of the Pacific,” reads an Activision post.

Developed by Beenox, this limited-time event will give you vital information about Caldera and its various landmarks ahead of its December launch, but only if you complete challenges in Vanguard and Warzone.

“Each game has its own set of tasks and rewards for completing it, such as acquiring and protecting Pacific artifacts as you fight for survival in Verdansk.”

The event will likely launch at the same time as an update, meaning a new set of patch notes will be unveiled later in the day.

Speaking of new Call of Duty maps, Vanguard players should check out the revised Shipment map.

According to Activision, the new and improved Shipment map contains destructible elements.

“The destructible containers provide great coverage and opacity to enemies at first, but quickly become hollow chaff as a match on Shipment progresses,” explains Activision.

“Take matters into your own hands by running, exploding or firing through the wooden containers before the enemy has a chance to hide in them.”

Speaking of cover, Activision recommends firing through cover or aiming for the explosive barrel if a sniper moves to the elevated platform.

The small size of the map also makes it ideal for leveling up characters and weapons, especially through challenges.

“The Perk 1 slot contains three options, all of which can be used in Shipment: Survival Training for damage reduction from explosives, Reinforced to gain immunity to tactical gear, and Dauntless to counter oppression,” Activision continues.

“Consider which X-factor for gunplay will most affect your ability to come out on top and plan those loadouts around that advantage.

“The 24/7 transmission includes Domination, with one flag in the center and the other two on the corners.

“With quick respawns and plenty of action throughout, your best bet is to grit your teeth, shoot and try to coordinate catches with multiple teammates.”
