Microsoft announced at E3 2018 that it had bought Hellblade developer Ninja Theory. By integrating it into the Microsoft portfolio, Ninja Theory promised more resources and freedom to provide fans with “titles similar to Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice”.
They’ll even offer a title very similar to Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. Namely Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II. The acquisition by Microsoft also means Hellblade II will come out (only) for Xbox Series and PCs.
At The Game Awards 2021, we got our first gameplay look at the game that night. After Ninja Theory kept fans afloat with developer videos for the past few months, today six proud minutes of the game remain. In addition to gameplay, we also see sequences and events.
