Deep Rock Galactic is now available for download on PS4 and PS5 consoles and seems to be a big hit with fans.

With its unique playstyle and setting, there have been many PlayStation Plus subscribers battling it out in the dark against giant Aranchids since the new free titles went live in January.

But there have been some teething problems that have kept a few PlayStation owners from continuing their journey.

Problems with the server lists not working properly and players not being able to connect with friends and grab the free DLC have led to a number of issues.

But the good news for all PS Plus subscribers is that Deep Rock Galactic has received its first patch and all these issues have been resolved.

And while some fans are still limited by the localized languages available in the game, developers Coffee Stain Studios have confirmed they will be adding more in the future.

PS Plus subscribers are available to download now from PlayStation Store and can claim Persona 5 Strikers, Dirt 5 and Deep Rock Galactic until early February 2022.

The Persona 5 spin-off is seen as a cross between the Atlus role-playing game and Dynasty Warriors, with the latter’s hack-and-slash gameplay.

Meanwhile, Dirt 5 will be playable on PlayStation 4 and PS5, featuring the rally racing game with multiple racing styles and arcade gameplay.

The third and final PlayStation Plus game is Deep Rock Galactic, a co-op shooter that pits a host of tough space dwarves against alien invaders.

“Work together as a team to dig, explore and make your way through a vast cave system filled with hordes of deadly enemies and valuable resources.

“You’ll have to rely on your teammates if you want to survive the most hostile cave systems in the galaxy!”

The game has “overwhelmingly positive” reviews on Steam, with fans praising its intuitive communication system and overall variety.

And since Deep Rock Galactic is not currently available on the PlayStation Store, it will make for a pretty strong debut on PS4 and PS5 consoles.

Meanwhile, some PS Plus subscribers have discovered that they are claiming another batch of free titles in January 2022.

According to gamers in some regions, Persona 5 Strikers has been removed and replaced by How to Survive 2, a game with much lower review scores.

The good news is that only a few regions have been affected by this switch, and Sony is warning that it could happen from time to time, telling fans:

“Different countries have different rights, release schedules and, as many of you know, have different things available on their PlayStation Store for this reason.

“We are constantly working to align our content globally, but also to ensure that our North American audiences get the content that is available to them as some games are released globally on different schedules.”
