Call of Duty Warzone and Vanguard’s mid-season content is about to go live across all platforms.

The mid-season content update has a release date of January 13 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.

While the updates are now available for download, the content itself will go live at 5pm GMT UK time.

The content update adds a new weapon, a new Warzone game mode, a new Operator and much more.

The new Operator is Isabella Rosario Dulnuan Reyes. Players will be able to purchase the new character as part of an impending shopping bundle.

Needless to say, the latest update from Warzone and Vanguard also includes numerous bug fixes and balance changes.

As you can see from the patch notes below, the new weapon is a Welgun Submachine Gun, which is ideal for short to medium ranges.

Elsewhere, the new Warzone game mode is called Vanguard Plunder, where the goal is to make money.

Vanguard Looter

Bug fixes

• Fixed several issues that caused instability on the Xbox and PlayStation platforms.

• Fixed an issue that caused crashes on PlayStation 5.

• Fixed an issue with the wrapped powder attachment that caused location multipliers to increase.

• Fixed an issue with the Double Barrel (VG) where the Akimbo Gun Perk did not properly reduce damage.

• Fixed an issue with the Submachine Gun Alpha (VG) where the VDD 189mm short barrel was incorrectly affecting the location multipliers.

• Fixed an issue with the Assault Rifle Charlie (VG) where the SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x Optic would envelop the screen while firing.

• Fixed collision issues with various elements in Caldera that allowed players to exploit/peep/shoot them.

• Fixed an issue where players would return from the Gulag with incorrect equipment.

• Fixed an issue that caused players to be kicked off the Gunsmith screen while using custom gear during a match.

• Fixed an issue where incorrect visuals were displayed for certain Store Bundle previews.

• Fixed an issue that caused incorrect description text to be displayed for certain operators.

• Fixed an issue where placeholder text was showing under cross-platform friends in the Social menu.

• Fixed an issue where placeholder text was displayed on several Calling Cards.

• Fixed an issue where some store bundles were showing with the incorrect rarity label.

• Fixed an issue that prevented the operator mission “Get 3 Wins as Francis” from tracking progress.

• Fixed an issue that caused the Caldera Victory Exfil movie to end prematurely.

• Fixed an issue that prevented the Match Summary button from working.

• Fixed an issue that prevented tactical insertion from appearing in the Field Upgrades menu.

– Recoil deviation slightly decreased

– Recoil ramp-up now occurs one bullet later

• Shotgun

– Einhorn Revolving (VG)

– Hip spread slightly increased
