Recent articles

Recently we got to see some characters Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream to get to know. Today, Koei Tecmo and Gust show us the battle system and photo mode each in a video. Even monsters can pose in the picture.

New story, new adventures, new Plachta

Atelier Sophie 2 continues the story of Sophie and Plachta. As the two churches leave Bell, they discover a huge tree that Plachta saw in a dream. A mysterious vortex immediately draws Sophie to a world called Earth Cradle.

There Sophie hears about an alchemist named Plachta. When Sophie visits the Plachta in the other world, she meets a young lady who doesn’t know Sophie.

Graphically you want to stick to the style of the Mysterious series, but get the quality of Ryza 2. The areas are free to explore, with battles starting seamlessly. In total, up to six characters can fight. Three duos work together in the turn-based clashes.

And yes, of course alchemy also plays a major role in Atelier Sophie 2. The materials are placed in panels and synthesized. But first you have to collect them.

Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream will be released simultaneously worldwide on February 25, 2022 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC Steam. For collectors in Europe there is a Premium Box and a Special Collection Box.

It was also announced that all purchasers of the physical first release of Atelier Sophie 2 will receive a special reversible cover and bonus poster featuring exclusive NOCO artwork. You can Atelier Sophie 2 at Amazon for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4* pre-order.
