Microsoft has confirmed that they are investigating issues with the Halo Infinite server tonight that are preventing players from jumping into live matches.

It’s unclear what caused the problem or why gamers get error messages highlighting specific server errors.

The good news is that the engineers are on the case and aim to bring matchmaking back online for everyone as soon as possible.

However, there is currently no ETA on how long Halo fans will have to wait before they can rejoin live matches on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.

The latest message from the Halo Infinite support team reads: “We are currently investigating reports of matchmaking errors in #HaloInfinite. When we have an update, we will share it here.”

Thousands of reports have been shared online regarding the current outage, although the number remains relatively low for a multiplayer game.

This means that everything can go back to normal relatively quickly on all platforms.
