Capcom announces new sales figures shortly after PC release

Shortly after the PC release of Monster Hunter Rise current sales figures published. The game has now crossed the eight million units physically delivered and digitally sold.

Capcom last reported 7.5 million units in mid-October. So you can count on approximately 500,000 copies sold worldwide since then. It’s hard to say how many of these will be PCs. After all, there is still a Christmas sale for Nintendo Switch in between.

The PC version offers this:

Screen filters are a new feature on Steam. If you’re looking for a visual change, you can choose between black and white, sepia, Japanese style or feudal style. Those who like cinema will also find two cinema options.

4K resolution, high-resolution textures, unlimited frame rates, and ultra-wide display support also await. With the right hardware, you can get a lot out of the Switch version. If you want to convince yourself, you can go to Steam play a demo.

Unfortunately, there is no cross-save or cross-play for the new Steam version. Experienced hunters have to start all over again. The Sunbreak expansion comes out next summer.
