The expensive release of the cloud versions of the Kingdom Hearts series for Nintendo Switch will probably be seen by very few fans as a successful celebration for the 20th anniversary of the series. But there is still a chance.
Square Enix has announcedannounced that an anniversary event will be held in Tokyo on April 10. The event will consist of a mini concert, a talk show, an exhibition “and much more”. A video of the event will then be available online to fans around the world.
The first Kingdom Hearts was released in Japan on March 28, 2002 for PlayStation 2. Some of you probably just bought it because it features Final Fantasy characters. Or?
Then everything was very simple. It’s been a while since Kingdom Hearts 3 came out. In recent years, Square Enix has focused on spin-offs and bringing the series to Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
