Electronic Arts and Codemasters provide us with the launch trailer GRID Legends† This mainly offers fast racing sequences and chic landscape shots.

GRID Legends revised inrace choreographer ensures no two races are alike. Unique AI driver personalities create unpredictable races, so players should expect the unexpected. AI vehicles fight for every position and take risks to stay ahead. The living world can cause unexpected moments, such as crashes, engine failures or cars tipping over in front of you. GRID Legends takes players to 130 tracks around the world, including reallife tracks such as Brands Hatch and Indianapolis, as well as iconic street circuits such as Dubai and London.

GRID Legends is the perfect racing game for friends to meet and compete on all platforms in some of the most famous cities in the world,” said Mark Green, GRID Senior Development Director at Codemasters. “We’ve given our players more variety and choice. From ‘Driven to Glory’ and ‘Career’ to ‘Race Creator’ and crossplatform multiplayer, there’s something for every racing fan. We can’t wait to see everyone on the grid.”

At launch, players will be able to drive and upgrade over 100 vehicles, from classic touring cars to large platforms and singleseaters to electric and hybrid vehicles. The ingame Race Creator allows to create races with multiclass options, allowing vehicles such as stadium trucks to compete on an equal footing against compact cars. There’s also a random number generator button for those who want to jump into action faster. Once created, players can host online events in private lobbies for friends or open them up to the global community. All multiplayer options are crossplatform, allowing friends and players to connect regardless of their location.

Driven to Glory is a modern documentary story mode featuring live footage and interviews with drivers, ontrack sequences and choreographed ingame events. The story follows Driver 22, an unknown track as he makes his way from rookie to GRID world champion against established teams including Ravenwest’s Nathan McKane. The live content brings players closer to the action and features a diverse cast, including awardwinning British actor Ncuti Gatwa.

GRID Legends will be available to play on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X since February 25.
