Loot River Connects Dark Souls and Tetris Starting May 3

Recent articles

Dark Souls meets Tetris. This is, of course, an announcement that attracts attention. This slogan has itself Loot River written on the flag. Superhot Presents and developer straka.studio have great role models. We will hear on 3 May whether they can meet these expectations. This was announced today with a short new trailer.

The release is for PCs and Xbox. Xbox fans can look forward to Loot River right at launch in Xbox Game Pass. A demo has also been available on Xbox and PC Steam for some time now. Since today’s trailer doesn’t make much sense, we can recommend last week’s overview trailer.

Loot River’s core mechanics are the floating islands, which you can move with the power of the relic (it doesn’t matter why). The small islands are in the form of blocks and complement each other. You really get a Tetris feel from this. The rest is a bleak world, vicious enemies and villainous dungeons.

On your adventures through the endless catacombs you will encounter vicious beasts, lost travelers and mighty enemies. Discover tons of new weapons and equipment in the cosmic caves. And there acquire unholy knowledge to gain permanent upgrades.
