The table for the various editions of Sonic Origins caused a lot of criticism on social media this week, but also a lot of amusement. Publisher Devolver Digital (Return to Monkey Island) could not resist again and started working on it.

on Twitter a published (without direct Sonic naming, of course) a large table with lots of fields and ticks for the upcoming Trek to Yomi. Good for fans: here you can get everything everywhere. A dig at Sonic Origins, of course.

“Our marketing department has created a handy guide to pre-ordering Trek to Yomi. Use it to find your way to purchase,” someone tweeted about the chart, which shows the same content across all variants of the Trek to Yomi platform.

Devolver Digital has repeatedly criticized the industry in recent years. Devolver Direct 2021 showcased the in-house MaxPass+, which is intended to be “Monetization as a Service”. This will get you all Devolver games for full price.

The publishing house, which was only founded in 2009, has also been one of the larger fish since November 2021 at the latest. They went public and Sony took 5 percent of the shares.

Trek to Yomi will be released in May 2022. Patience and timing are the keys to successful combat in this samurai adventure. Check out the latest new trailer for the game here, followed by the table mentioned at the start.
