LEGO leaks should now be treated with caution, including this one of course. if promo stones reports, LEGO plans to release a LEGO model of the Atari 2600 to celebrate Atari’s 50th anniversary in August.
Of course nothing seems unthinkable after the NES-LEGO, but that the choice would fall on the relatively unpopular Atari 2600 seems surprising. But the release is scheduled for August 2022 under the set number 10306 for 169.99 euros, Promobricks reports.
The LEGO set should therefore provide a slot for cartridges such as the prototype and, in addition to the controller, also a well-known game, namely Pitfall. This must of course also be mounted first!
As with the Nintendo Entertainment System, there must also be an actual, playable scene from Pitfall. The hero hangs from a vine and swings over a pit of crocodiles.
What would you think of this LEGO set? If this information turns out to be true, do you think the Atari 2600 is a good choice? Or would you rather have had a different console?
