An Italian voice actor may accidentally have a little too much on the Sequel to Zelda: Breath of the Wild betray. Pietro Ubaldi is the voice of Daruk in the original game and was provided by the fansite League of Hyrule questioned.
He revealed that not only did he recently do the voice recordings for Nintendo’s new game, but he also dubbed not only Daruk’s voice, but also that of his ancestors.
He couldn’t remember the ancestor’s name, but it wasn’t Darunia (Ocarina of Time). Pietro Ubaldi described the role as “more serious” and of course fans are now speculating what that could mean for the game.
Do the ancestors appear in flashbacks? Or is part of the game even playable in the past? Have we seen images from the past among the already known scenes?
And of course: who is this ancestor? Could it even be Vah Rudania’s original pilot? And will we also encounter the ancestors of Revali, Mipha and Urbosa?
There are no answers today or tomorrow. A few weeks ago, Nintendo had to announce that the sequel to Zelda: Breath of the Wild will no longer be released this year. Incidentally, the short trailer shown at the time gave rise to speculation.
