During the last livestream, Electronic Arts and Motive announced that Dead Space Remake will be released on January 27, 2023 for PS5 and Xbox Series X. There was also information about the vastly improved optics.
“We at Motive had a lot of fun developing this remake as we are huge fans of the franchise and want to give the game the respect it deserves. We are equally pleased with the response from the players we take on this development journey,” said Phillippe Ducharme, Senior Producer of Empty space† “We are making great strides on our path to Alpha and are excited to finally announce that the game will be out next January. We can’t wait for players old and new to see how we improved the original gameplay experience in the remake, so it’s just as impactful for this generation.”
Empty space puts players in the role of Isaac Clarke, a runofthemill engineer on a routine mission to repair a giant mining ship, the USG Ishimura. But a real nightmare awaits him aboard the Ishimura: the ship’s crew is killed and infected. And Isaac’s friend Nicole must still be on board somewhere. Isaac is alone and trapped. All he has left are his technical tools and technical skills, which he uses to fight for survival not only against terrifying monsters called “Necromorphs”, but also against his own sanity.
