CD Projekt RED Announces New Period For Next-Gen Version

In April, CD Projekt RED announced that it was launching the next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has attracted. Until then, work on the game had been done by Russian studio Saber Interactive, and the collaboration was obviously not in a good light given the invasion of Ukraine. The postponement: initially indefinitely.

“We are currently evaluating the scope of work to be completed and therefore need to postpone the Q2 release until further notice,” it said at the time. Now you know where you stand. CD Project RED gave knownhas announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be released in Q4 2022 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.

CD Projekt RED positioned itself very early in Ukraine and was one of the first manufacturers to stop selling digital and physical games in Russia. Many other manufacturers followed and eventually platform owners.

It’s been exactly seven years since The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was released, but the Witcher hasn’t been quiet lately. There are now two seasons of the Witcher series on Netflix, with The Witcher: Monster Slayer trying out an AR game.

In March, CD Projekt RED announced that a new The Witcher is in development. The Polish studio has announced a new game that will “start a new saga for the franchise”. Sounds like looking around for a new protagonist, guess what?
