Live A Live shows more eras and extensive game material

Square Enix and Western Publisher Nintendo Have New Videos and Gameplay Footage live alive released. In particular, we are introduced to three other eras of the HD2D remake: Edo-Japan, the Wild West and the near future. The gameplay footage shows the present and Edo Japan.

The game offers a total of seven eras.

Part of the Japanese Collector’s Edition will also be released in Europe. Next one the normal retail version at Amazon* is available in the European Square Enix Store steel titanium

How was Live A Live…?

If the title doesn’t immediately tell you something, that’s not surprising. It is a JRPG by Square released on September 2, 1994 in Japan for Super Famicom only.

The title marked the directorial debut of Takashi Tokita, who later also directed the iconic JRPG Chrono Trigger. The project also debuted composer Yōko Shimomura with her first musical work for Square.

The RPG was never released outside of Japan. An English version of the title is only available in the form of a fan translation. Lag – until 2022. Now finally comes an official localization, including German texts.

Live A Live will be released worldwide on July 22 for Nintendo Switch.
