Yuji Horii Promises Lots of New Dragon Quest Titles This Year

Recent articles

May 27 is Dragon Quest Day. There is a simple reason for this, because on May 27, 1986, the first Dragon Quest was released in Japan. It’s already May 27 in Japan, which is why Dragon Quest inventor Yuji Horii has spoken out in a message.

In it, he promises many new Dragon Quest titles this year. These include Dragon Quest Builders for mobile, Dragon Quest Treasures, and Dragon Quest X: Rise of the Five Tribes Offline, both available now.

That’s what Horii says about Dragon Quest XII

Horii also speaks briefly about Dragon Quest XII. Unfortunately, he doesn’t get too specific. The team is hard at work. Otherwise, however, he refers to the other Dragon Quest projects that appear earlier. We will have to be patient here.

The projects Infinity Strash – Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai and the HD2D remake of Dragon Quest III remain completely unmentioned.
