Korean developer and publisher NCSOFT has Project M announced, which in these hours especially attracts attention with its graphic splendor. The game has made itself photo-realistic graphics based on the Unreal Engine 5.

They want to offer an “interactive movie experience” about a man seeking revenge for the death of his wife. In a playful way, Project M is limited to decisions and quick events, at least in the first trailer. An experience like Quantic Dream (Heavy Rain) and Supermassive Games (Until Dawn) offered us with their games.

With Project M, NCSoft wants to promote its own “Open R&D” initiative NCing. So you want to develop the game openly. Moon Young Choi, Principal Development Management Officer of NCSOFT, sums it up like this:

“NCing reflects the company’s commitment to be transparent about the development process and to continue to communicate early information about new projects to fans.”

“Going forward, we will proactively present our development progress in a variety of formats from content such as trailer videos, interviews, novels and webtoons,” continued Moon Young Choi. Project M is still in the early stages of development.
