Netflix has as part of Geeked Week Castlevania: Nocturne announced the next anime series based on Konami’s Castlevania franchise. If there are no new games.
The series is directed by Showrunner Kevin Kolde and Creator & Writer Clive Bradley and is produced by Project 51 Productions in association with Powerhouse Animation.
Castlevania: Nocturne follows Richter, a descendant of the Belmont family who rose to fame in the legendary Castlevania games Symphony of Night and Rondo of Blood.
After Castlevania NFTs, Konami also has plans for the series. “As we look to the future of the Castlevania series, we will continue to support the titles currently available, while also exploring new opportunities for titles that will meet and exceed players’ expectations,” Konami said in January.
A new game is said to be in the works. According to media reports, the new Castlevania is described as an “innovation” and is currently being manufactured at Konami in Japan and with the help of external partners.
