A few weeks ago there was the first information that Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise will also be released for PCs via Steam by Rising Star Games. As the publisher has now announced, the horror game is now available on Steam available. Until June 18 for 27.99 euros, the normal price is then 39.99 euros.

The title was originally released for Switch on July 10, 2020. With the Steam Deck, you can now enjoy the second installment on the go without Nintendo’s hybrid console. However, the game is not “Steam Deck Verified” yet. You can read in our test whether buying the game is generally worth it.

The future is in the past

Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise takes place both nine years after and five years before the events of its predecessor. Here players take control of two protagonists to find out the truth.

In the present, players take on the role of Special Agent Davis working on an unsolved case. To this end, it conducts interviews, records witness statements and analyzes evidence.

In the past, however, players control Special Agent Morgan, who investigates a brutal series of murders. It is important to get to know the inhabitants, track down clues or even consult the arts of voodoo.

Since it is only understandable that real estate agents need a break from such exhausting work, the town of Le Carré also offers opportunities for relaxation. Players can try a perfect score at Bar Alexus, for example bowling; enjoy nature and jump rocks over the river; take a boat trip and target practice; or even put your own skateboarding skills to the test.
