Even before Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes was announced, there were reports and rumors of “several” new Fire Emblem games. In the end, it turned out to be just the Warriors spin-off, which may have left fans of the classic tactical RPG series a little disappointed.

Insider Emily Rogers has reiterated her claim that another Fire Emblem has already been completed and is awaiting release. Emily Rogers has been known for her Nintendo knowledge for years, but has long been a lot more defensive. VGC picked up the latest rumours.

Bee family plates she writes that the new Fire Emblem is “more than a year complete” and that it will be a new game, not a remake. According to Rogers, the game was originally intended to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the series, which is coming in 2020. The game is a “collaboration between Intelligent Systems, Koei Tecmo and Gust” and the graphics are said to be “an improvement over Three Houses”.

Whether Emily Rogers is right can one day be said for sure, as her further statements are very specific. The main character is said to have “strange red and blue hair” and his “mother is a dragon”. Well, if that’s not something.
