Todd Howard casually announced Fallout 5. Not that one had to worry that it would never come to that. But Todd Howard just made it official.

In an interview with IGN Howard said, “Yeah, Elder Scrolls VI is in pre-production and after that we’re going to do Fallout 5, so our schedule is pretty busy for a while. We also have some other projects that we consider from time to time.”

Howard had previously dispelled hopes, if any, that the next fallout would be outsourced because of Bethesda’s monster projects. “I don’t see that… You know, fallout is really part of our DNA here,” Todd Howard said.
