A prequel for mobile

In “Champions of the Continent,” players can choose from three stories. These are about resisting those who boast of “wealth,” “power,” and “glory.” Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent is based on the free-to-play concept and takes place a few years before the events of Octopath Traveler. A real prequel.

The game relies on the HD2D look (also name protected). The battles take place in command and turn-based systems, but unlike the original, eight characters are used. The team can be composed of more than 64 characters.

There is also hope for consoles

The developers reported on Twitter in March 2019: “Anyone waiting for a new console game: We’re sorry, but production is taking a little longer. In the meantime, hopefully you can [Smartphone]- Enjoy the game!” This confirms that the series also has a future on consoles.
