That Kirby 30th Anniversary Music Festival was announced a long time ago. The concert will be held by a “Big Band” with 35 musicians at 11 a.m. German time on August 11, and will be streamed live!
Given the great success of Kirby and the Forgotten Land in the meantime, it wouldn’t hurt to remember, especially now that the YouTube livestream link Gift. There is also an archive accompanying the concert afterwards.
This is, you guessed it, a celebration of Kirby’s 30th birthday. For the 25th anniversary, there was a special performance by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, which Nintendo shared on social media in March with a cutout remembered.
It’s actually been a while since Kirby’s 30th birthday. Kirby’s Dream Land was released for the Game Boy on April 27, 1992, followed by a release in Europe and North America in August. Details about the concert can be found on the official site.
