Following the initial announcement, developer Frogwares has now released the reveal trailer for Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened and launched the previously promised Kickstarter campaign.
Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened is a complete remake of the game of the same name released in 2006. The game will be released for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
the Kickstarter campaign is intended to ensure the financing of the final production phases. It has been estimated at 70,000 euros. By the time this article was published, twice as many had already been recorded.
The first stretch target has been achieved and the second is likely to be cracked soon. Then it would be ensured that parts of the story could also be read as Dr. Watson can play.
The game would be rebuilt from the ground up in Unreal Engine 4. There are new gameplay mechanics and cutscenes, a “rewritten” story, and many other revisions.
