Square Enix released a demo of The Diofield Chronicle released for all systems. The progress made can be carried over to the full version.
The demo begins on the island of DioField, which suddenly finds itself in times of great uncertainty thanks to the increasing forces of war and modern magic. Covering the beginning of the game to the end of the first chapter, the demo features fastpaced and actionpacked combat where you lead small troops in different types of battles. Each of them fulfills a unique role on the battlefield. Players meet the Blue Foxes mercenaries and plan their moves in a new highly strategic realtime combat system the “Real Time Tactical Battle” (RTTB).
Can also The Diofield Chronicle contains a dark and compelling story created by a talented and experienced team. Among them are character designs by Taiki (Lord of Vermillion III, IV), concept art by Isamu Kamikokuryo (Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy XIII) and beautifully staged music by worldrenowned composers Ramin Djawadi and Brandon Campbell, best known for their work on Game of Thrones.
The Diofield Chronicle is available for preorder on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, the Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam). The Collector’s Edition set can only be prepurchased through the Square Enix Store and is limited to a limited number. This set consists of the standard version of the game including the Collector’s Goods Box. It includes the board game The DioField Chronicle and a set of four pins.
