One million players visit Night City every day

This week we celebrate the beginning of fall. Over the summer, the author wrote an article predicting Cyberpunk 2077’s second spring in the fall. And right now, it looks like the CD Projekt RED title is well on its way.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners has been running on Netflix and in the US for just over a week steam cards Last week Cyberpunk 2077 was the world’s best-selling item (after Steam Deck).

CD Project RED itself now proudly announcedthat Night City was visited by a million players every day of the week – both returning and new. Apparently they are alone on Steam currently around 86,000 simultaneously players daily. That’s as many as in January 2021, shortly after the game’s launch.

Along with the anime, the eponymous Edgerunners update for Cyberpunk 2077 went live a few days ago. CD Projekt RED also announced the Phantom Liberty expansion for early 2023. It looks like Cyberpunk 2077 has actually turned the corner.

“We believe that Cyberpunk 2077 will be seen as a very good game in the long run and will sell like our other titles in the coming years, especially as the hardware gets more powerful over time and we improve the game” , said President Adam Kiciński. in November 2021
