After a small delay of about a month, Panini Verlag will publish two novels in the coming week Final Fantasy VII reissue and publish in a common, limited edition new slipcase.

The new release date is September 27, 2022. Included are here the preview and The kids are doing wellboth books, of course, in their German translation.

This is especially gratifying for the German book Der Blick vorn, which is out of print in many places and was published a few years ago. Apparently there have been no reprints here for a long time. Anyone looking for the book to release Final Fantasy VII Remake found it on the used market.

Final Fantasy VII: Looking Ahead is the link between the end of Final Fantasy VII and the beginning of the animated film Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. The novel highlights the two intervening years.

In The kids are doing well is about Evan Townshend, who lost everything during the meteor attack two years ago and had to rebuild his whole life. In his case, that means he works for Mireille’s private detective agency, a small company that tracks down missing friends and relatives.

You know Mireille from Final Fantasy VII Remake and she is not alone: Kirie Canaan is also prominent here. Both books cost 39.00 euros in the new cassette. The only thing missing is Traces of Two Pasts, of which only an English translation has been announced so far.
