A new Mac Pro is one of the most-anticipated products of 2023 since the current one still has Intel processors. An “M2 Extreme” chip with a 40-core CPU, up to a 128-core GPU, and at least 128GB or 256GB of unified memory is also expected to be available for the Mac Pro.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 3

Even though most of the levels in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 look like they were made from scratch, it’s possible that Infinity Ward looked at some of its older work for ideas. Beta players have noticed that a large part of one of the game’s multiplayer maps looks like a famous snowy level from Call of Duty, which came out in 2003.

It looks like the level MP Pavlov from the first Call of Duty was a big inspiration for the new multiplayer map Farm 18 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The way things look has been greatly improved, but the flow of the level and even its rough geometry seem to have been carried over to this new arena. For instance, the small kill house on one side of the playable area of Farm 18 looks a lot like MP Pavlov’s main room.

Some people think that Modern Warfare 2 is more of the same, but it shows how good Infinity Ward is that they can go back to what made this version of Call of Duty interesting from the start. In fact, Infinity Ward could make Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s maps stand out by combining the old and the new, as it seems to have done with Farm 18.

Farm 18 and how similar it seems to be to an ancient Call of Duty map may be seen as a success story, but not every multiplayer level that was announced has turned out to be this lucky. In fact, Modern Warfare 2’s Marina Bay level was taken out of the game after it was announced as a highlight of the beta. No one has yet explained why this happened.

Aside from all the bugs, another big problem with the early multiplayer beta was that Modern Warfare 2’s Gunsmith is very limited in this version. Players couldn’t unlock and change their guns however they wanted. Even though it’s clear that the system gives the game a lot of room for complexity, its limited use didn’t do the game any real favors.
