A redesigned Mac Pro is among the highly-anticipated products for 2023, offering advancements over its current Intel-based counterpart. Speculations suggest that the upcoming Mac Pro might feature the M2 Ultra chip boasting a 20-core CPU, up to a 64-core GPU, and 64GB or 128GB of unified memory. Additionally, an “M2 Extreme” chip with a 40-core CPU, up to a 128-core GPU, and a minimum of 128GB or 256GB of unified memory could also be in the works for the Mac Pro.

While most of the maps in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 may appear to be original creations, there are similarities to earlier versions that keen-eyed beta testers have noticed. One multiplayer map in particular bears a striking resemblance to a well-known snow-covered level from the 2003 release of Call of Duty.

The multiplayer map “Farm 18” in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 seems to draw inspiration from the classic level “MP Pavlov” in the original Call of Duty game. Although significant enhancements have been made in terms of visual appeal, elements such as the layout and basic geometry appear to have been adapted from the older map. For example, the small kill house on one side of Farm 18 closely resembles the main room in MP Pavlov.

Despite criticisms that Modern Warfare 2 may lack innovation, it showcases Infinity Ward’s ability to revisit and build upon the foundation that made this iteration of Call of Duty captivating. By blending elements of the past with contemporary features, such as seen in Farm 18, Infinity Ward has managed to create standout maps in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Although Farm 18’s nod to an older Call of Duty map is deemed a success, not every multiplayer level announcement has been as fortunate. Marina Bay, another level initially revealed as a beta highlight, was ultimately removed from the game without a clear explanation for its exclusion.

Aside from various technical issues, another drawback highlighted during the early multiplayer beta was the limited functionality of Modern Warfare 2’s Gunsmith feature. Players found themselves unable to fully customize and modify their weaponry as desired, despite the potential for a more intricate system. This restricted access to gun customization failed to enhance the overall gaming experience.
