E3 2023 takes place June 13-16 and aims to bring the industry back together

The ESA continues to work on the comeback of E3 2023. After the cancellation this year and after three years of physical abstinence, the trade association wants to be the most anticipated trade fair in the video game world again by the second week of June 2023. The concrete dates are now available from 13 to 16 June 2023.

ReedPop’s expertise was used for the new concept. This makes it seem as if there is a separate space for industry and visitors in terms of time and location. The working days are from 13 to 15 June and except for the exhibitors, only registered media have access. ESA is preparing its own hall for this.

The “Gamer Days” will be held locally in a different room on June 15 and 16. There, players can also get their hands on upcoming titles or visit stage events.

ReedPop’s Kyle Marsden-Kish wants nothing less than to “restore the traditional E3 week”. Will that work? From June 11, digital events from partners are already promised. That really does sound like a classic E3 feel.

In any case, it’s going to be – from now on – a big showdown in 2023. In recent years, Geoff Keighley has been happily positioning himself with his E3 Summer Game Fest and it was revealed that he would like to make a physical appearance for next year for the first time. Will be exciting.
