Silent Hill, rumors here, media reports there. There are three new games in the works right now, one by Bloober Team, a remake of Silent Hill 2 reportedly going, then Annapurna Interactive’s episodic “Short Stories,” and the next main branch, which a Japanese studio will make. All just rumors, insider reports, and, as always, reliable sources familiar with the matter.
A trademark from South Korea makes Silent Hill concrete
Today we finally get something tangible. In South Korea, there is a trademark Silent Hill: the short message turned up. The publisher is UNIANA, which regularly sells Konami games in South Korea, including eFootball 2023, which was secured in South Korea at the same time.
From the rumors so far, Annapurna Interactive’s alleged project fits best here. It actually fits quite well. There is no official announcement yet. A brand is often used, but not always. Still, hope should now be palpable that Konami will soon officially bring Silent Hill back to life. Silent Hill is slowly becoming concrete again.
