The National Cybersecurity Guidance Center has issued a high-risk security advisory on Google Chrome updates, including digital vulnerabilities, cyberattacks, and technical updates, and they are rated according to their sensitivity.

Google has released an update to fix a number of vulnerabilities in the Chrome browser for Windows, Mac, Linux

Threats:

An attacker could exploit the vulnerabilities and do the following:

Running malware

– Bypass protection mechanism

The center recommends updating the browser to version 106.0.5249.61/62, as Google has issued a clarification on the necessary updates via the link below:

The browser supports automatic updating to the latest version available.
