CD Projekt RED tries the momentum of Cyberpunk 2077 preserve. The anime and many, many updates and positive press are currently providing a steadily increasing number of players.
The following positive PR message fits the bill nicely. CD Projekt RED today announced that Cyberpunk 2077 has sold over 20 million copies worldwide has sold. For context: The Witcher 3 – first released in 2015 – has 40 million units.
Over the summer, the author wrote an article predicting Cyberpunk 2077’s second spring in the fall. And right now, it looks like the CD Projekt RED title is well on its way.
Along with the anime, the eponymous Edgerunners update for Cyberpunk 2077 recently went live. CD Projekt RED also announced the Phantom Liberty expansion for early 2023.
