Terraria Patch Notes 1.30 Update Today on October 04, 2022

The latest Terraria Update 1.30 is now live, bringing various Game Updates, Bug Fixes, improvements, and Patch Notes. Available for download on all platforms such as PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. The download size may vary depending on the platform.

Additionally, the 1.4.4.1 update for Mobile devices has been released, incorporating all fixes from the PC version of 1.4.4.1 along with specific fixes for Console/Mobile as detailed below:

• Console/Mobile Specific Additions/Changes and Bug Fixes in 1.4.4.1 Update:
  – The default for new players is now “Classic” instead of “Journey”
  – Resolved an issue where sacrificing the Guide Voodoo Doll in the “Celebrationmk10” lava pool did not summon the Wall of Flesh despite killing the Guide
  – Addressed a graphical glitch with certain critter cages
  – Fixed a bug where items wouldn’t transmute correctly when dropped into Shimmer during Multiplayer sessions
  – Corrected an issue where the Shellphone wouldn’t teleport players and lacked a crafted tooltip

The update will gradually roll out to consoles over the week following approvals from respective platforms. An anticipated release for the Amazon version is also expected today, following validation delays. Players are encouraged to report if they encounter any issues or if they receive the update previously missed via the old “Trial” version.

Development is underway for version 1.4.4.2 along with specific fixes for Console/Mobile platforms to address additional issues, marking the approach to a second round of hotfixes for Console and Mobile players.
