Also in the new trailer released today Pokemon Crimson and Crimson have you seen a strange black crystal for the first time? You may encounter these black crystals more often in Paldea.
They look different from the ones you visit for tera raids. Black Crystals allow you to participate in temporary Tera Raids.
Sure, you’ll encounter particularly strong Pokémon, but you can also receive more valuable rewards. The Pokémon Company today revealed the first of these Tera Raid events.
The first “regular” Tera Raid event is “Eevee Spotlight” and will take place from November 25 to 27, 2022. During this event, Eevee will appear more frequently in Tera Raids, which feature different Tera types.
From December 2 to December 4 and from December 16 to 18, you can catch a Charizard with a Titan sign in a special (black) Tera Raid event. Charizard cannot normally be caught in Paldea and can only be obtained once per save. The Charizard carries the Tera-Type Dragon.
You must have completed “certain events” after the end of the main story to participate in Black Tera Raids. Anyone who has not yet completed these unspecified events can also participate via the multiplayer mode.
On November 18, Pokémon Crimson and Crimson will be released and most of the new features are of course in both games. Three trails await you on your adventure, between which you can choose freely. The new “Let’s Go” function should make it easier for you and of course the new Tera crystallizations are waiting for you.
